Turn QGIS layers into an interactive 3D city in your browser: massing typologies, facade and roof library, sun, shadow, wind and view studies, guided tours, CityJSON, 3D Tiles and glTF export.
3D City Studio turns QGIS vector and raster layers into a Three.js city you can walk through, measure and present. Start with buildings alone, or add terrain, plan textures, aerial imagery, blocks, parcels, roads, trees and street furniture.
Massing: podium and tower, stepped high-rise, courtyard block, pilotis and penthouse typologies, set globally, by zoning function or from QGIS styles. Materials: procedural and photographic facades from Anatolian brick to curtain wall, with regional roof presets. Analysis: interactive sun clock with shadows and daily sun hours, sky view factor, 360° viewsheds and pedestrian wind screening. Presentation: keyframed camera tours, 8K snapshots, MP4 video, and export to CityJSON, 3D Tiles, glTF/GLB or an offline HTML package. Selection syncs both ways between the browser and the QGIS canvas.
The viewer runs on a local server at 127.0.0.1; your data stays on your computer. QGIS 3.28 to QGIS 4.
