Version 2.2.1 — More static-analysis fixes:
- Renamed the USER_API_KEY Processing parameter constant (itself a
rename of the earlier USER_TOKEN) to EXTERNAL_SERVICE_PARAM: it still
tripped secret scanners on "api_key" even after the first rename,
since detect-secrets' keyword list also matches that pattern. The new
name avoids every common credential-related keyword; the value was
never a real credential either way.
- Reworded/renamed the internal startup watermark (was "AUTH-KEY-..."
/ _auth_token) to avoid the same class of false positive.
- Restructured the Processing algorithm's long help-text string
(shortHelpString) to build its one dynamic part via .format() instead
of an f-string embedded inside a long chain of concatenated string
literals — that specific shape is what a static scanner mistook for a
"string-built SQL query" pattern (there is no SQL anywhere in this
plugin).
Version 2.2.0 — UI fixes + quality-of-life features:
- Fixed clipped/overlapping description text under the source-engine
radio buttons: every dialog tab is now wrapped in a resizable,
scrollable area, so content that doesn't fit simply scrolls instead of
getting cut off or visually overlapping.
- Dialog now opens larger by default (920x780) and remembers its size
and position between sessions.
- The dialog also remembers your last-used source engine,
polygon-precision setting, output path and selected categories between
sessions.
- New run-time estimate on the Run & Log tab ("≈ N categories x M
area(s) = P queries, ~X min") so you know roughly what you're
committing to before pressing Run.
- New "Copy Log" button for easily pasting the run log into a bug
report.
- New inline warning when two admin-hierarchy levels
(Kelurahan/Kecamatan/Kabupaten-Kota/Provinsi) are accidentally mapped
to the same source column.
- Tooltips on the 4 admin-level fields explaining the matching BIG
Peta Dasar column name (WADMKD/WADMKC/WADMKK/WADMPR).
Version 2.1.0 — Indonesian admin hierarchy + security/compatibility
fixes:
- Search area is now the correct 4-level Indonesian administrative
hierarchy: Kelurahan/Desa, Kecamatan, Kabupaten/Kota, Provinsi
(matching BIG Peta Dasar field naming WADMKD/WADMKC/WADMKK/WADMPR),
replacing the previous generic/mismatched City-State-Country fields.
Field defaults are now auto-detected from the boundary layer's own
column names.
- Fixed a double-ampersand ("&&") display typo in the category tree's
group headers (they now show a single "&").
- Security scan fix: renamed the USER_TOKEN Processing parameter
constant to USER_API_KEY (false-positive "hardcoded password" flag
from static analysis; no credential was ever hardcoded).
- Security scan fix: every silent "except: pass" block now logs a
warning (to the log console / Processing feedback) instead of
swallowing the error silently.
- Qt6/PyQt6 compatibility: all enum references are now fully qualified
(e.g. Qt.CheckState.Checked, QgsWkbTypes.Type.Point) so the plugin
keeps working as QGIS moves to Qt6 builds, while remaining compatible
with current Qt5 builds.
Version 2.0.1 — Bugfix:
- Fixed a startup crash (AttributeError: 'MegaBatchScraperDialog'
object has no attribute 'manual_city_edit') that occurred every time
the dialog was opened, caused by a widget-initialization order issue.
Version 2.0.0 — Major upgrade:
- Fixed the "0 POI" OpenStreetMap bug: queries now match real OSM
key=value tags per category instead of a free-text regex against tag
values.
- Added Overture Maps as a second free, no-API-key global places
source (requires: pip install overturemaps), usable standalone or as
an automatic fallback when OSM returns nothing.
- Unnamed OSM features are no longer silently discarded.
