Mega Batch POI Scraper

Plugin ID: 5648

An enterprise-level PyQGIS plugin engineered to automate Point of Interest (POI) data extraction across multiple sources simultaneously. Built for urban planners and geospatial analysts to easily map global amenities. v2.0 rebuilds the OpenStreetMap engine on exact OSM tag matching (fixing the "0 POI" bug of v1, which relied on a free-text regex that never matched real OSM tag values), adds Overture Maps as a second free, no-API-key global source, and ships a fully bilingual (English/Indonesian) interactive dialog with a searchable category tree, live progress and log. v2.1 corrects the search-area model to Indonesia's real 4-level administrative hierarchy (Kelurahan/Desa, Kecamatan, Kabupaten/Kota, Provinsi) with BIG field-name auto-detection, and fixes several static-analysis findings (a false-positive hardcoded-credential flag, silent exception handling, and Qt6/PyQt6 enum compatibility). Every tab scrolls instead of clipping content, the dialog remembers its size/position and your last-used settings between sessions, and the Run tab shows a rough time estimate before you commit to a long batch. A bundled, bilingual HTML guide (opened with one click from the Vector menu or the in-dialog button) walks through installation and explains how each source works.

Automates POI data extraction across multiple free and paid engines (OpenStreetMap, Overture Maps, Wikidata, Google, Foursquare, HERE) with spatial anti-duplication, a bilingual (EN/ID) interactive UI, and accurate OSM tag-based matching. Search area uses Indonesia's real 4-level administrative hierarchy (Kelurahan/Desa, Kecamatan, Kabupaten/Kota, Provinsi). <b>Step-by-step HTML installation guide included</b> — after installing, open <b>Vector &gt; Mega Batch POI Scraper &gt; Installation Guide (HTML)...</b> from the QGIS menu, or click the "Installation Guide" button inside the plugin dialog, to see the full click-through setup steps (including the one-line command for the optional Overture Maps source) and how each data source works.
