Renders a DEM as a Japanese woodblock print (ukiyo-e): flat colour plates, bokashi, key-block outlines, misregistration, wood grain and washi paper. Works on any platform; no extra software required.
Deterministic, parameter-driven rendering of digital elevation models in the style of Japanese woodblock prints. Two modes: a georeferenced plan view (GeoTIFF) and an oblique layered landscape with aerial perspective (PNG). Everything is computed from the DEM by an algorithm; no AI is involved and the same seed always gives the same print.
Dependencies: only libraries shipped with QGIS (numpy, GDAL, matplotlib). SciPy is used when present to speed up labelling, but is optional. No separate installation is needed.
