Ugsurv
CAD-style survey drafting and editing toolkit for Uganda land and boundary survey workflows.
Ugsurv is a comprehensive CAD-style drafting and survey-editing plugin for Uganda land surveyors working in QGIS. All geometry is stored in a GeoPackage in EPSG:32636 (WGS 84 / UTM Zone 36N) with full CRS enforcement and on-the-fly reprojection.
Drawing tools: point, line, polyline, circle, arc, rectangle, polygon - all with dynamic keyboard input and snap-to-geometry.
Modify tools: move, copy, rotate, scale, mirror, offset, array, trim, extend, fillet, chamfer, explode, and crop - matching the core CAD edit workflow.
Vertex tools: grip-edit, add vertex, remove vertex, join segments, and break at point.
Annotation: linear, angular, and aligned dimensioning; text labels; georeferencing and print-alignment tools.
Selection: window/crossing/fence selection, erase selection, select-similar, and stretch.
Layer management: draw-order grouping via named cad_layers with colour, linetype, visibility, lock, and sort-order controls - without creating extra QGIS layers.
Topology: spiky-corner detection, topology correction (SOLVETOPO), and geometry revert.
Auto-plot: automated sheet layout and plotting for survey plans.
Designed for cadastral, boundary, and topographic survey drafting entirely within QGIS.
