Topology check and cleanup for polygon and line layers: snapping, missing nodes, dangles and overshoots, assembly check, topology-preserving simplification
Brings polygon coverages into order. Finds topology violations and separates
certain debris from cases that may carry meaning: the first group is fixed
silently, the second is only reported and never changed automatically.
Snaps neighbouring borders to an exact match without moving any vertex
further than the tolerance, inserts missing nodes without changing shape
or area at all, checks whether groups of objects assemble into one body,
and simplifies while keeping shared borders shared.
Replaces the manual routine of snapping a layer to itself followed by
a dissolve without attributes. All tools live in the Processing panel
and work in models and in batch mode. Interface in English and Russian.
