ToolkitPalm
Detect and segment oil palm trees and optimise collection points on drone orthomosaics.
ToolkitPalm brings together three geoprocessing tools for oil palm plantations in a single panel, designed to work on drone orthomosaics:
- Palm Detector: counts and locates every palm tree, with manual editing of the detected points and automatic numbering along planting rows.
- Palm Segmenter: isolates the canopy and computes spectral indices (NDVI, NDWI, SAVI and others).
- Collection Point Optimiser: finds the optimal locations for collection points along the road network.

The heavy processing runs on a remote server, so no GPU or deep learning libraries are needed on your machine. Large plots are automatically split into blocks and processed in parallel, and an interrupted job can be resumed where it stopped.

Usage requires signing in with a Google account and spending processing credits: one credit covers up to 5 hectares, charged per plot rather than per block. Every new account gets one free trial credit. Credit packages can be purchased from within the plugin.

The plugin contains no secrets or embedded API keys: authorisation is granted by the user's own Google session, which the server verifies directly with Google.
