- Journal figures: title_placement="caption" moves the title and
credits out of the image and returns a ready caption for the
manuscript; "none" makes maps without a title.
- Dense occurrence records: count_points_by_site (one symbol per site,
merged at the map scale) and apply_proportional_symbol_style;
compose_map with dense_points="sites" or "heatmap".
- map_crs="auto": Lambert azimuthal equal-area for a continent, Equal
Earth for the world, degree graticule.
- Six new audit rules (CART076 to CART081), 43 in total.
- The map recipe remakes a map in an empty QGIS project or on another
computer (layers reloaded with their style; data_dir).
Bug fixes:
- Relief and hillshade without stripes (bilinear resampling).
- Raster legend class labels on the right class.
- GBIF source kept in the credit line of per-site layers.
- Raster styles ignore fill values and isolated peaks.
- Colour ramps work without the QGIS style database; TIFF export
through GDAL when Qt has no TIFF plugin.
