Data extraction for geological interpretation
SecInterp is a QGIS plugin for geological cross-section construction and interpretation. Starting from a two-vertex section line, it samples DEM topography and projects geology polygons, structural measurements, and drillhole collars, surveys and intervals onto the section. The preview supports adaptive level of detail, snapping, distance/slope measurements, live symbology and a configurable legend. Interpretation polygons can inherit attributes from geology and drillholes, then be exported as 2D/3D geometries together with CSV, SHP, DXF, PDF, SVG and PNG outputs. It targets QGIS 3.28–4.x on Qt5/Qt6, requires no external Python packages, and is released under GPL-2.0-or-later.
