Route events and CIS chainage (pikets): point and line events, ledger with station equations, reverse locating, longitudinal profiles
Linear referencing for QGIS with full support of CIS chainage practice: station formats (ПК 15+35, км+м, railway km/picket), picket ledgers with station equations (forward and backward), several chainage systems per route. Routes are assembled from shuffled multipart pieces and true arcs. Every run reports unplaced records with the reason. Routes carry chainage in M values: read from the geometry, calibrated from a ledger or control points, and written into results for PostGIS and ArcGIS. Longitudinal profiles sample rasters at pickets and events and draw a profile grid with grades and a straightened plan for print layouts. Includes a demo generator with analytically computed reference answers. Pure PyQGIS + NumPy, no external dependencies.
