Retro Skin
Just for fun: switch the QGIS look on the fly with retro skins (Vintage 95, ArcView 3.x style, ArcMap 8.x style, QGIS 2.x style, GRASS GIS 6 style). A playful toy for GIS nostalgics, and anyone can freely create their own skins!
I created this plugin in a moment of nostalgia for the old days. There is no intention to compare or compete with any software: it's just for fun. Technology moves fast, and sometimes a single icon is enough to unlock a memory. Retro Skin is a small time machine for QGIS: pick a skin, smile, and switch back to the standard look whenever you like.
Included skins: Vintage 95, ArcView 3.x style, ArcMap 8.x style, QGIS 2.x style, GRASS GIS 6 style. Switch skins from Plugins > Retro Skin, from the toolbar button or with Ctrl+Alt+K; "QGIS (original)" restores the standard look.
Everyone is free to create and share their own skins: a skin is just a folder with a skin.json file, a Qt stylesheet (style.qss) and 16/32 px PNG icons. Copy an existing skin folder, edit it, and it will show up in the menu. See the README in the repository for the format.
