This plugin turns raw hazard and exposure data into simple, decision-ready impact estimates. Instead of stopping at "where the hazard will occur", it helps answer "who and what is likely to be affected, and by how much", so that governments and sector agencies can act early and target resources where they matter most. Includes tools for data classification, zonal statistics, and report generation.

RapidIBF-Next is an impact-based forecasting (IBF) toolkit for national hydro-meteorological services, disaster management offices and sector agencies. It combines a hazard layer (for example a seasonal climate outlook, a rainfall or temperature anomaly, a flood or landslide susceptibility raster, or a tropical cyclone wind swath) with exposure data (population rasters, point facilities such as schools and health centres, or line networks such as roads) and aggregates the result to administrative boundaries. Workflows cover raster hazard with raster exposure, raster hazard with point exposure, and raster hazard with line exposure. Outputs include classified impact layers styled in QGIS, GeoPackage and CSV exports, and a comprehensive HTML and PDF report with maps, charts and summary text. The report is available in English, Russian, Hindi, Tamil, Sinhala and Dhivehi, with terminology drawn from official government and disaster-risk-reduction sources. The plugin uses only libraries bundled with QGIS (GDAL, NumPy and Jinja2). No additional Python packages need to be installed. Developed by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).
