Flood Simulation Studio is a standalone QGIS workspace for planning-grade flood simulation and return-period screening. Load an AOI, optional buildings, optional soil/drainage/surface-water layers, or let the Studio fetch DEM, SoilGrids soil parameters, and mapped surface water. Set rainfall, infiltration, drainage, channels, blockages, and timing, then run an animated 2D/3D flood scenario or T5-T100 return-period assessments. Outputs include maximum and final flood depth, flood extent, hazard, speed and direction proxies, water-surface raster, affected-structure counts, CSV summaries, scenario JSON, and transferable DEM/soil/surface-water context layers. Engineering certification should use calibrated local hydrology and approved hydraulic solvers.
