Point Shift Tracker
Track how far a point feature has been moved during editing, with live distance analysis and an in-panel warning when a shift exceeds your configured threshold.
Point Shift Tracker adds a dock panel that watches a point layer in the background while you edit with QGIS's own Vertex Tool. Whenever a point's location changes, it compares the old and new position, shows the shift distance on the canvas next to the point, and displays a distance summary directly inside the dock panel (no popups). A configurable Warning Distance highlights shifts that exceed your set limit right in the panel. Page Up / Page Down keys (or on-screen buttons) let you jump between point features without leaving editing mode. Compatible with QGIS 3.x and QGIS 4.x (Qt5 and Qt6).
