Pinned Layers

Keep the layers you are working on one click away, in a small panel above the Layers panel.

In a project with dozens of layers, the few you need right now are often buried in collapsed groups.
Pinned Layers gives them a short list of their own.
Select layers in the Layers panel and press "+ Add selected" to pin them.
Clicking a pinned layer makes it the active layer: its groups open and the Layers panel scrolls to it, so you can start editing or paste features straight away.
The checkbox shows or hides the layer and stays in sync with the Layers panel, and rows can be reordered by dragging.
The list is saved in the project and remembers layers by ID, so renamed layers and layers with the same name are not a problem.
