It downloads in parallel, adapts to your computer and servers, and resumes interrupted work. With many layers and a large area, especially at zoom levels above 17, the tile count can be huge and downloads may take several hours to several days. You'll need QGIS 3.40+/4.x, Python >=3.10 and GDAL >=3.7 supplied by QGIS, access to your sources and disk space. Includes defusedxml (PSF license); no extra Python packages to install. Install the release ZIP through the QGIS Plugin Manager, then restart QGIS.
It runs locally, without analytics or sending projects/diagnostics to the author. Requests send the required area, layer settings and authentication to your chosen services. Please respect their licenses, attribution and download/reuse limits; the author isn't liable for users' violations to the extent permitted by law. GPL-2.0-only.
