Offline geocoding: turn addresses into points with one local file per country, no API key.
Geocodes an address field of any layer or table into points (Processing > GridPin), and finds an address from the locator bar with the prefix "gp". Everything runs on your machine from a country sheet downloaded once from dl.gridpin.dev and checked against the signed release; no query leaves the computer. Coverage is limited to the countries listed at https://gridpin.dev; addresses elsewhere get no result. Requires the gridpin Python package (Apache-2.0), which the QPIP plugin installs from requirements.txt; without QPIP run pip install "gridpin>=0.7,<0.8" in the QGIS Python. Sheet data: OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL), Overture Maps and national open address sources, see https://gridpin.dev.
