Automatic geological fracture mapping from an RGB orthophoto, with or without a DEM
FraXtex is a QGIS 3/4 plugin for automatic fracture mapping in two stages: (1) generate a fracture probability map from an RGB orthophoto, with or without a DEM, using ONNX deep learning models (3-channel RGB and 4-channel RGB+DEM models are both supported; the right one is read from the model's declared input shape, falling back to whether a DEM was supplied when the model exports that dimension symbolically), and (2) vectorize the probability map into LineString geometry. Dependencies (numpy, rasterio, scikit-image, onnxruntime, geopandas, shapely, pygeoops) are auto-installed on first run via pip. If auto-install fails, a platform-specific manual command is shown in the Processing log. See the README for manual install instructions for macOS, Windows, and Linux.
