IMI Rates Portugal (flatin.pt)
Adds a map layer with the yearly IMI (municipal property tax) rate of all 308 municipalities of Portugal, styled by rate, with official boundaries.
Adds one layer: the yearly urban IMI rate (Imposto Municipal sobre Imóveis) of every municipality of Portugal, on official municipal boundaries, coloured by rate. Choose the latest verified tax year or an earlier one.
Coverage: Portugal only (mainland, Madeira and the Azores).
Requirements: an internet connection to https://flatin.pt when the layer is added. No account, no key, no extra Python packages. The plugin sends no telemetry; it contacts flatin.pt only when you open its dialog (to list the tax years) and when you add the layer.
Data: the rates are checked against the Autoridade Tributária portal and published by flatin.pt as open data under CC BY 4.0 (https://flatin.pt/en/tools/imi-open-data/). Where a municipality sets its rate per parish, the rate is empty, never zero. Boundaries: Carta Administrativa Oficial de Portugal (CAOP), Direção-Geral do Território, CC BY 4.0, simplified for mapping. Credits are kept in the layer metadata.
