Filter, search, and edit vector layer attributes in a spreadsheet-style table that stays in sync with the map — find the feature first, then confirm it on the map, then act on it. Helps manage data where the map and its attributes are closely linked, such as forest planning maps (森林計画図).
Most attribute-editing plugins start from selecting a feature on the map, then editing its attributes. Compartment Compass works the other way around: the attribute table is the starting point. Filter across any column with a per-column, spreadsheet-style search row to find the exact compartment you need, watch it get highlighted and zoomed on the map as you move through the table, and edit GeoPackage values directly in the table. Built for Japan's national and private forest planning map data, but works with any vector layer already loaded in the project; it does not download or install data itself.
