CityStockID Automated Urban Diagnostic AUD is a QGIS plugin designed to generate automated urban diagnostics from temporally harmonized gridded building stock data for Indonesia.

The plugin analyzes WorldPop and Google Open Buildings temporal building stock data at 100 m resolution to identify building growth, footprint expansion, vertical or mass densification, compact intensification, urban shrinking indication, morphological pressure, urban fringe dynamics, and preliminary spatial planning policy directions.

CityStockID supports evidence based urban and regional planning by transforming multi year building stock rasters into interpretable spatial indicators, zonal diagnostics, visual analytics, and automated HTML reporting.

The tool supports a wide range of planning applications including:

CityStockID provides an integrated automated urban diagnostic framework for analyzing Indonesia specific building stock dynamics using temporally harmonized gridded raster data.

The plugin combines remote sensing based building stock information, raster change analysis, zonal statistics, spatial morphology indicators, urban intensity proxies, and rule based planning diagnostics to support urban and regional planning decisions.

It generates key diagnostic indicators such as building stock change, percent growth, CAGR, KDB proxy, KLB proxy, KDH pressure, vertical intensity, average footprint size, perimeter surface ratio, compactness proxy, sprawl risk index, densification score, morphological pressure index, and urban intensity index.

CityStockID also classifies zonal urban dynamics into categories such as Urban Shrinking Indication, Growth Hotspot, Compact Intensification, Footprint Expansion, Vertical or Mass Densification, Moderate Growth, Stable or Low Change, Decline or Noise Candidate, and No Data.

The plugin produces preliminary policy directions through a 9 class classifier including Urban Shrinking Regeneration Direction, Sprawl Control, FAR Audit and Vertical Transition, Green or Open Space Priority and Overbuilt Control, Intensity and Infrastructure Capacity Audit, Anticipate Intensification and Guide Compact Growth, Footprint Expansion Monitoring, Stable or Low Change Area, and General Monitoring.

Outputs include a spatial diagnostic layer, raster summaries, zonal summary tables, optional XLSX workbook, modern PNG visualizations, and an automated HTML diagnostic report with planning conclusions.

CityStockID is designed for research, planning practice, spatial monitoring, RDTR support, urban growth assessment, and evidence based policy diagnostics in Indonesian urban and regional planning contexts.
