USGS DEM Downloader
Downloads and mosaics USGS 3DEP DEM tiles at 1-meter, 1/9, 1/3, or 1 arc-second resolution for the map extent, a drawn area, or a polygon layer, with configurable large-file warnings.
Downloads available USGS 3DEP DEM tiles at 1-meter, 1/9 arc-second (about 3-meter), 1/3 arc-second (about 10-meter), or 1 arc-second (about 30-meter) resolution for the current map canvas extent, a rectangle drawn on the map, or a polygon vector layer; mosaics them into a GeoTIFF; and adds the raster to the QGIS project. The 1-meter DEM is selected by default, and the default product can be changed in the plugin settings. Configurable warnings can prompt before large source-tile downloads and before keeping large final rasters. The warning thresholds can be adjusted or disabled independently in the plugin settings.
