BULK LANDSAT DOWNLOADS WITH READY-TO-USE PRODUCTS — NO ACCOUNT NEEDED
The plugin searches and bulk-downloads Landsat imagery from the USGS Landsat Collection 2 Level-2 archive (surface reflectance and surface temperature, 30 m resolution, global coverage since 1982) served openly through the Microsoft Planetary Computer STAC API. No registration, no sign-in, no API keys.

MISSIONS: Landsat 8 + 9 (2013 — today), Landsat 7 (1999 — 2022), Landsat 4 + 5 (1982 — 2013) or all of them at once — four decades of Earth observation for change analyses.

AREA OF INTEREST: a polygon layer from the project or a GeoPackage (.gpkg) file.

FILTERS AND SCENE SELECTION:
- date range, maximum cloud cover, scene limit,
- strategies: all scenes / manual checklist / month filter / automatically the 3 least cloudy scenes of each month.

DOWNLOADING:
- the plugin downloads ONLY the bands needed for the chosen products (small, fast transfers),
- up to 4 parallel downloads, automatic retries after errors,
- resuming of interrupted sessions (finished scenes are skipped),
- a CSV summary report; raw band files can be kept or removed.

AUTOMATIC PRODUCTS (GeoTIFF with ready-made symbology — coloured in QGIS from the first second):
- colour composites: RGB (natural colours), CIR (vegetation in red), SWIR (agriculture), GEO (geology); transparent scene corners,
- indices computed on true surface reflectance, with colour ramps and legends (QML files applied automatically): NDVI (vegetation condition), NDWI (surface water), NDMI (vegetation moisture, droughts), NBR (burn severity), NDSI (snow and ice),
- TEMP — land surface temperature in degrees Celsius from the Landsat thermal band, with a blue-to-red temperature ramp (urban heat islands, drought monitoring),
- finished products can be loaded into the QGIS project automatically.
