Esri Picture Function
Shows pictures attached to ArcGIS Feature Service layers and makes them available to print layouts and atlas.
Fetches the attachments of an ArcGIS Feature Service layer through the QGIS authentication manager, so services secured with OAuth2 on an ArcGIS Enterprise portal work without handling tokens by hand. Attachments on the layer itself and on related tables are found automatically.
The pictures of the selected features are shown in a panel. Large selections are fetched in batches, the features are marked on the map, and clicking a picture points out the feature it belongs to.
For print layouts the pictures are exported to a folder, rotated by their EXIF tag and capped in size, and inserted with the expression functions esri_picture() and esri_pictures() — in a picture item, or in an HTML item that lists every picture of the atlas feature.
No additional Python packages are required.
