Determine plausible locations for a specific type of facility based on user-selected layers.
ReNCAT is a Sandia Laboratories-developed tool for quantitatively evaluating communities' difficulty accessing resources and assisting in developing microgrids to serve those resource needs. In cases where facilities may not exist but which may be incorporated into planning, such as for electric vehicle charging, this pre-processor provides a set of candidate locations based on user-selected layers. This pre-processor is similar to Argonne Lab's GEM but allows for arbitrary user-uploaded layer data.
