PK Tools brings together three chainage-based utilities in a single QGIS plugin for calibrated road networks:
🔹Identificar PK – Click on a road feature to obtain its road ID and chainage (PK).
🔹Localizar PK – Enter a road ID and PK to zoom to the exact location on the map, highlighted with a temporary marker.
🔹Distancia PK – Measure the distance between two PKs along the same road. The tool reports both the PK-based distance and the actual linear distance along the geometry, which is useful when the layer calibration does not match the PK difference exactly.
Additional features:
➕Shows point coordinates and provides a direct link to Street View.
➕Allows exporting identified points to a temporary point layer.
➕Uses temporary markers that are not stored as layers and are cleared when the tool is closed.
➕Simple configuration: choose the measure layer, road field and calibration units once; settings are remembered between projects.
Works with linear M-geometry layers (LineStringM / MultiLineStringM, with measure values along the geometry).
Ideal for road projects and mobility analysis.
