This plugin provides a professional interface to explore and analyze atmospheric data from the LMD Mars Climate Database (MCD). It automates the complex process of reading NetCDF files, allowing researchers to transform raw scientific data into georeferenced raster layers and high-quality plots effortlessly.
KEY FEATURES:
- Map Tool: Generate georeferenced maps with real-time spatial interpolation for variables like temperature, pressure, and wind.
- Profile Tool: Create vertical atmospheric cross-sections, temporal evolution charts, and 2D scientific graphs.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS (PLEASE READ):
1. EXTERNAL DATA:
This plugin DOES NOT include MCD data due to license and size. You must have a local installation of the Mars Climate Database (v5 or v6).
On the first run, you will be asked to select your local 'data' folder.
The folder MUST contain these subfolders:
- Scenarios: clim_aveEUV, cold, warm, strm
- Historic data: MY24, MY25, MY26, MY27, MY28, MY29, MY30, MY31, MY32, MY33, MY34, MY35
2. PYTHON LIBRARIES:
Requires 'xarray' and 'netCDF4'.
Install them via OSGeo4W Shell (Windows) or Terminal:
pip install xarray netCDF4
