This is the second release of the Active FIre plugin, which allows the user to display active fire data from the past 24 hours in the QGIS project.

The user can chose between MODIS C6 or VIIRS firepixels, which are downloaded from NASA and uploaded into the QGIS project as shapefiles. The plugin includes a counter for the number of firepixels in each shapefile.
