This plugin automatically detects horizontal and vertical lines using linestring vector layer as inputs. Different thresholds can be set : 50% (0.5) is the default value for vertical and horizontal detections. It means that to be detected as vertical a line has to be half wide than high. Remainder is detected as diagonal (with a large threshold : 90% as default value). This plugin is a very basic spatial analysis of networks. As result, a new field hori_verti is created and reflects the detection : v for vertical, h for horizontal, d as diagonal, u as undefined.

A set of tools to do geoprocessing with PostGIS layers. The spatial SQL queries are run in the server where the layers come from, and the result will be a PostGIS layer (created directly in the server where the inputs come from) and not a shapefile as usually in the Processing toolbox. The plugin is experimental and in the future it will benefit from a number of improvements that will be made in the QGIS Processing toolbox.

The plugin uses constant radius ellipsoidal caps (calculated by Vincenty's formulae) instead of the original infinitesimal small Tissot circles. These caps are able to transform on the fly from a reference ellipsoid to a selected project coordinate reference system. The user can study the distortions of the caps in a blink, such conclusions can be drawn as the projection is conformal or equal-area.
