Download maps from Socrata-powered data portals

This is a simple plugin built to facilitate GIS sharing from Socrata sites. It is added to the web menu, as it is pulling from web datasets. This is not a Socrata product.

How to use:

In the web menu, select Socrata > Socrata Plugin

In the Settings tab, write in the domain of the Socrata Open Data portal (the url without 'https://') for example 'data.nola.gov'

In the Download tab - select "Get Maps" A dialog box with a list of all available maps will be presented. Select one and click Ok.

The unique id will populate in the box below. If you wanted to see the map online simply navigate to https:// {domain} /d/ {unique id}

Press Ok and the map will be added to your current view. You can repeat this process as many times as you like.
