Line style with intermediate vertex points and connecting lines that "loop" around the points using geometry generators. The size of the markers, loops and line thickness are controlled by a layer variable named "@symbol_size". You can change this in the layer properties. Created for large scale projected maps, but can be modified mostly by changing this variable to something suitable in "map units".
