qgisMinimumVersion=3.40
qgisMaximumVersion=4.99
description=Compare maps side by side in 2 to 8 synchronized panels: before/after and scenario layouts, cross-panel feature inspection, change overlays, true-area readouts and offline HTML dashboards.
version=1.2.2
author=Geophilo
email=yusuf.eminoglu@deu.edu.tr

about=02Multimap splits the QGIS map into 2, 3, 4, 6 or 8 panels that pan and zoom together, so scenarios, years or indicators can be read side by side instead of toggled on and off.
    Click once to inspect vector attributes and raster values at the same point in every panel. A difference view marks what was added in green and removed in red. Each panel shows its feature count and polygon area, measured on the ellipsoid so the figure is true ground area in any CRS. Ready templates (Before and After, 4-Scenario Matrix, Temporal Timeline), saved workspaces, a shared legend drawer and synchronized measuring keep comparisons consistent.
    Export the panels to a print layout or to a self-contained HTML dashboard with legends, scale bars, three themes and a slide mode.

changelog=
    1.2.2 - Hub listing text rewritten; author Geophilo; university affiliation removed; documentation links use the standard geophilo.com pages (manual.html, guide/); manual HTML no longer ships in the plugin package.
    1.2.1 - Remove the blue/teal QgsRubberBand highlight overlay that tinted non-active panels; the selected panel is now distinguished cleanly by its active frame border alone.
    1.2.0 - Fix missing North Arrow, Scale Bar, and Legend in multi-panel (including 8-panel 2x4) Print Layout and HTML Dashboard exports, redesign the 3D isometric studio icon, and enhance live workspace tools:
    - Print Layout North Arrow Fix: Resolve relative QGIS SVG paths against QgsApplication.svgPaths() and bundle a high-contrast vector compass rose (icons/north_arrow.svg) so North Arrows never render blank.
    - Print Layout Scale Bar Fix: Initialize QgsLayoutItemScaleBar with applyDefaultSettings, applyDefaultSize, and ellipsoidal ground-width segment sizing so unitsPerSegment is never zero in EPSG:4326, EPSG:3857, or projected CRSs.
    - Print Layout Multi-Layer & Per-Panel Legends: Add a dedicated Master Cartographic Footer (North Arrow, multi-column QgsLayoutItemLegend, panel summary card, and Scale Bar) plus per-panel title banners and on-map mini North Arrow, Legend, and Scale Bar stamps for 2 to 8 panels.
    - HTML Dashboard Cartographic HUD: Embed North Arrow SVG badges, live zoom-responsive ground Scale Bars, and categorized/graduated/rule-based Legends on every exported HTML panel, with a Carto HUD toggle and Haversine ground distance measurement.
    - Live Workspace Enhancements: Support graduated and rule-based renderers in panel legend cards and the Unified Legend Drawer across all panel modes, add CRS-aware pixel-tolerance querying in Multi-Inspect, and load saved user presets from QSettings.
    1.1.0 - Correct area measurement and layer comparison across coordinate reference systems. KPI area chips and the Spatial Difference Engine now measure true ground area on the ellipsoid instead of raw layer units, which read 1.76x high in EPSG:3857 at Turkish latitudes and collapsed to "0.00 ha" for a degree square in EPSG:4326. Panels whose layers and canvas sit in different CRSs previously reported an empty comparison and "0 ha"; both now reproject before measuring. UTM and other projected metre data keep their values.
    1.0.2 - Redesign plugin icon to high-end 3D tactile brand design with circular teal pedestal, zero margin, and refreshed documentation links.
    02Multimap 1.0.0 - Official v1.0.0 Milestone Release: dynamic real-time scale readout on viewport zoom/pan, visual Spatial Difference Engine (green/red highlights), timeline transition player, HTML presentation slide mode, 2-row spacious toolbar layout, upgraded documentation site, and official v1.0.0 3D glass icon.
    02Multimap 0.6.0 - Major feature expansion: added Visual Spatial Difference Engine (green/red geometry highlights), Overlap percent readout, Timeline Transition Player, and HTML Presentation Slide Mode.
    02Multimap 0.5.0 - Major release: added Multi-Panel Coordinated Feature Inspector, live Viewport Spatial KPIs, Workspace Comparison Presets & Scenario Templates, Unified Legend Drawer, and Canvas HUD overlay.

    02Multimap 0.4.0 - Major update: added interactive multi-viewport Measurement tool (distance and area), enhanced comprehensive layer rendering for tile/raster layers, and added live measurement tools to exported HTML dashboards.
    02Multimap 0.3.1 - added interactive micro-legend overlay cards for each viewport card, time-series chronological layer auto-fill, and embedded legend support in offline HTML dashboards.
    02Multimap 0.3.0 - Major release: added dynamic Extent Bounding Box overlays across viewports, quick panel controls (Zoom to Layer, Opacity slider, Snapshot), cartographic Scale Presets, and multi-theme HTML Dashboards (Slate Light, Dark Midnight, Emerald Clean) with live theme toggles.
    02Multimap 0.2.0 - added extent-aware Choose for Me panel assignment, redesigned one-layer comparison guidance, and replaced the network-dependent HTML exporter with an offline, exact-render dashboard verified on QGIS 3.40 LTR and QGIS 4.
    02Multimap 0.1.5 - removed the shared top-level QGIS menu entry (toolbar icon only) and added a remembered export folder for the print/HTML layout exporter.
    02Multimap 0.1.3 - minor revision: replaced the plugin icon with a modern, high-contrast vector style icon compatible with light/dark themes.
