about=Turns a DEM and your vector layers into a 3D scene in three steps (terrain, objects, open in 3D) and runs the analyses planners ask of a 3D model. Buildings, walls, trees and poles are extruded from any height field or expression, stand on sloping ground and keep their QGIS colours; OpenStreetMap buildings (with building parts) and trees can be downloaded for the scene. GPU analyses: sun hours, shade and shadow studies, sky view factor, daylight on facades as the vertical sky component (CIE overcast sky), annual irradiation with rooftop and facade PV yield, viewsheds, pedestrian wind screening, UTCI heat stress, heat-island morphology and approximate Local Climate Zones, and a year of outdoor comfort around every building by season from an EnergyPlus weather file (the nearest TMYx station is one click away). Terrain analyses: slope, aspect, hillshade, curvature, topographic position, ruggedness and a wetness index, sections, flooding and cut and fill. A planning check marks each building pass or fail for sunlight and daylight after BRE 209 and for wind and summer heat-stress limits, with shareable threshold profiles; scenarios A and B are compared per building; an NSGA-II search trades floor area against sun on open ground, optionally within sunlight and daylight constraints. Results open side by side in up to eight synced panels, export as 8K images, PDF sheets, offline HTML, GLB and video, and return to QGIS as GeoTIFFs and building fields, styled in the 2D map and in the QGIS 3D view. The viewer runs in your web browser from a small server on this computer (127.0.0.1 only); nothing is uploaded. The internet is used only to download OpenStreetMap data (Overpass API) or a weather file (climate.onebuilding.org). Any coordinate system works: the scene is set up in local metres automatically. QGIS 3.28 and later, including QGIS 4. The analyses are screening tools for early design, not CFD or formal daylight assessments. Developed with feedback from educational workflows at Dokuz Eylul University, Department of City and Regional Planning.

changelog=
    1.0.0 - First release.
        - QGIS panel in three steps (terrain, objects, open in 3D), Quick 3D of a DEM, OpenStreetMap buildings with building parts and trees, nearest TMYx weather station, QGIS 3D view setup.
        - Browser viewer with tiled terrain for large DEMs, buildings on slopes, colour, filter and height rules, live shadows and a building report with PDF.
        - GPU analyses: sun hours, shade and shadow studies, sky view factor, facade daylight (vertical sky component), irradiation and PV, viewsheds, pedestrian wind, UTCI, heat-island morphology and Local Climate Zones, climate around buildings by season.
        - Terrain analyses: slope, aspect, hillshade, curvature, topographic position, ruggedness, wetness index; sections, flooding, cut and fill.
        - Planning check after BRE 209 with shareable profiles, scenario A and B per building, constrained NSGA-II height optimisation.
        - Swipe and 2 to 8 synced panels; images up to 8K, PDF sheets, offline HTML, GLB and video.
        - Results back to QGIS as styled GeoTIFFs and building fields, in 2D and 3D.
