about=Pre-select SIMS spots in Point, Line or Grid mode, measure image pixel size from a scale bar, and import WiscSIMS Excel session data with reference-pair or MonkeyNavigator2 GLP conversion.
Requires QGIS 3.44 or later in the QGIS 3 series. Excel import optionally requires openpyxl for .xlsx files or xlrd for .xls files. If missing, the plugin asks before installing the required module into the current user's QGIS Python environment. Installation requires pip and internet access; it can be declined. Preset and Pixel Size do not require these Excel modules.
GLP import requires the same alignment and enabled references as export. Failed GLP points can be skipped or converted with reference pairs after explicit confirmation.
