description=Build meshes, edit them and analyse results for TELEMAC in QGIS, with QGIS and Python only; export the same mesh to other 2D programs.
about=A mesher made for TELEMAC: unstructured triangles with refinement areas and points, breaklines and guide lines, fixed points and islands, stitched to structured channel strips and regular grids; a step-by-step Mesh workflow panel; local coordinates and channel templates (straight flume, circular bend, sine-generated meanders) with a bed formula along the channel axis; bottom from rasters, survey points or a formula; roughness zones; boundary conditions (.cli, .liq) numbered as TELEMAC numbers them; node editing of existing meshes (replace, add, raise, lower, inside polygons); mesh quality, cut and conversion. Writes SELAFIN for TELEMAC and the same mesh as 2DM (BASEMENT, TUFLOW FV, SMS), Gmsh, GiD (Iber), UGRID (Delft3D FM), MIKE 21 FM and ADCIRC/SCHISM, plus HEC-RAS perimeter and breakline layers. Results: read and write SELAFIN in pure Python; open 2D and 3D results as styled mesh layers driven by the QGIS Temporal Controller, with arrow controls (spacing, scale, filter), a live cursor, probe time series and animated profiles; a calculator with gradients, divergence, vorticity, strain and time statistics; discharges through sections, fluxes, line and area integrals. Works on Windows, Linux and macOS, QGIS 3.44 LTR (Qt5) and QGIS 4 (Qt6). No dependency beyond NumPy, which ships with QGIS.

changelog=
    0.4.1
    - Code quality: bottom formulas evaluated by a whitelisted expression walker (no eval)
    - Handled errors are logged to the TELEMAC Toolkit tab of the Log Messages panel instead of ignored
    - Flake8 clean-up (unused imports, ambiguous names)
    0.4.0
    - Arrow settings: grid spacing, proportional or fixed-scale length, hide below, colour by magnitude
    - Results open in view: CRS from a .prj or the project, or asked (local or map CRS); zoom and CRS buttons
    - Calculator: algebra, ddx, ddy, grad, div, curl, strain, Laplacian, tmax, tmin, tmean, tint, tpeak, ddt
    - Integrals and fluxes: discharge through sections, line and area integrals, volumes
    - Edit node values of a mesh: replace, add, raise, lower, inside polygons; .cli kept
    - Channel templates: straight flume, circular bend, sine-generated meanders; bed formulas in s and n
    - Liquid boundaries numbered exactly as TELEMAC numbers them
    - Automatic default element size; legend without duplicates
    0.3.0
    - Mesh workflow panel; clearer project layers (0.2.0 projects still open)
    - Local coordinates and straight flume template; files shifted to (0, 0) with optional rotation
    - Roughness zones; output to SELAFIN, 2DM, Gmsh, GiD, UGRID, MIKE 21, ADCIRC and HEC-RAS layers
    - Export or convert mesh; extract part of a mesh; find a node or element by number
    0.2.0
    - Mesher: unstructured triangles with refinement, constraint lines, fixed points and islands
    - Structured channels and regular grids; interpolation from rasters and points
    - Boundary conditions from lines; mesh quality
    0.1.0
    - SELAFIN read/write library; results as styled mesh layers, 2D and 3D
