name=Chak Star Alignment
qgisMinimumVersion=3.16
description=Draws the shortest possible star-pattern alignment from each chak's main outlet to its sub-chak boundaries, entering 2-3m inside the boundary - except the sub-chak that contains the outlet itself, which gets a fixed 3-4m alignment instead of a zero-length line. Pure spatial matching, no ID fields required.

about=Adds a Processing algorithm, "Star Alignment - Chak Outlet to Sub-Chak Boundaries", under the "Chak Design" group. Matches outlet points and sub-chak polygons to their parent chak polygon purely by spatial location (point-in-polygon / centroid-in-polygon) - no shared chak ID or sub-chak ID field needed. Draws the shortest possible line from each chak's outlet to the nearest point on each sub-chak boundary, entering 2-3m inside the boundary. The sub-chak that contains the outlet itself gets a fixed-length alignment instead of a zero-length line. All 3 layers should be in the same projected CRS so output lengths are in meters.
