description=Image enhancement, noise reduction, contrast, sharpening and pansharpening filters with interactive analysis tools.
about=QIP brings 18 classic image processing functions to QGIS: edge enhancement (Laplacian, Sobel, Prewitt, Roberts, Canny, high-pass), noise reduction (Gaussian, median, bilateral), contrast (histogram equalization, CLAHE, percentile stretch), tone (gamma, logarithmic), sharpening (high-boost / unsharp mask) and pansharpening (Brovey, IHS, PCA).

Every function is available as a Processing algorithm (Toolbox, Graphical Modeler, batch mode, qgis_process). An interactive panel previews filters on the whole layer or the current map extent, chains them into pipelines, and explains each one with histograms, CDFs, transfer curves, frequency spectra, difference maps, similarity metrics (SSIM, PSNR, correlation) and a mathematical description. Georeferencing, CRS and NoData are preserved.

Only libraries bundled with QGIS are used (NumPy, SciPy, GDAL, Matplotlib); no extra installation is needed. All processing runs locally.
