Plugin QdrawEVT :

This plugin is derived from the qdraw tool (this plugin is no longer maintained) and integrates with major improvements the qgeric selection functions (this plugin is no longer maintained).

Use with a standard project:

The icons turn blue when first used, and remain blue for the duration of the QGIS session.

The drawn objects are created in a “Drawings” group.

All drawing and selection tools can be used, the final selection is optional and linked to the user's choice.

A selection is only possible per group of layers.

Use in crisis management:

Transformation of a standard project into a Crisis Management project:

With the Settings button on the QdrawEVT toolbar, display the settings window and click on “Create group and event layers”.

An “Events” group will automatically be added to the current open project, as well as three specific layers: point, line and polygon.

It is the presence of this group which defines whether the color of the tool icons remains in red during use.

The events will be recorded according to their geometry in the event layers contained in the group, and these will automatically be made read-only.

Once an item is created, it cannot be erased.

The formatting by QML style file of the three layers placed in the event group is provided by the plugin.

This functionality thus transforms these three layers into a real handbook of actions carried out with the plugin, everything being automatically timestamped and identified.

The main groups conditioning the operation will also be created:

Issues: intended to accommodate all layers defining issues, which can be placed in subgroups.

Hazards/Risks: intended to receive all layers defining hazards or risks.

RDI: intended to receive all RDI specific layers.

Administrative: intended to receive all layers defining administrative boundaries (communes, EPCI, etc.) or referential layers.

Basemap: intended to receive all predominantly raster referential layers.

It will then be up to you to distribute the layers according to your needs.

Important note:all groups and layers contained in the Issues, RDI and Hazards/Risks groups must be checked by default. uncheckedby default.

Here too, a selection is only possible per group of layers.

Warning: only the main groups unchecked in the layers window will be presented to the user for selection.

No manipulation in the layers window is necessary, everything is automated by the system of groups defined by the plugin.

The result of a selection is presented in a specific, fully autonomous window, by an integrated toolbar system for exporting data tables or for displaying extracts of layers concerned in the map window.

All layer extracts contained in the selection window conform to the configurations of the original layers: all formatting, joins, attribute display settings, actions and other possible macros are fully included and functional on exports in the map window.

VERY IMPORTANT:exports of layer extracts are done in memory layers, installation and activation of the pluginMemoryLayerSaveris mandatory for conservation in the project.

Crisis_management plugin:

The QdrawEVT plugin gives the possibility of installing an additional plugin named “Gestion_crise”.

The installation command can be found in the “Extension → QdrawEVT → Install Crisis Management plugin” menu.

This plugin includes the complete project used in DDT04.

It will be necessary to adapt it to your structure.

Network drive letter settings, server IP addresses and shared folders can be configured in the “Extension → Crisis Management → Configure Network Shares” menu.

The configuration provided by default in the plugin is the one used in DDT04.

This plugin allows the use of an external disk as a data carrier, which makes it completely autonomous, even in the absence of any network and/or Internet connection.

To do this, it will be necessary to define the same tree structure on the external disk as that used for configuring network shares.

Connection to a compliant external drive or internal network is fully automatic.

After a compliant connection, an action choice window is presented to the user in order to choose the operation to perform: Exercise, Training, Real Crisis.

Important :for reasons of programming constraints, two paths are hard-coded in the plugin code:K:/permanence/ExercisesAndK:/permanence/Events.

Exercise choice:a timestamped folder will be created in the “Exercises” folder of the media in use, internal network or external disk.

Real Crisis Choice:a timestamped folder will be created in the “Events” folder of the media in use, internal network or external disk.

Training choice:a timestamped folder will be created in the “Training” folder on the current user’s desktop.

Here too, no user intervention is necessary, everything is automated.
