about=Parcel GPS brings official cadastral parcels into QGIS. Type a cadastral reference, click on the map or pick a field of references in any table, and the plugin adds each parcel to a "Parcel GPS" polygon layer (EPSG:4326) with its outline, reference, country, area, municipality and the official source. Coverage: 29 European countries (Spain with the Basque Country and Navarre foral cadastres, Portugal, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, the Nordic and Baltic countries and more); by reference in 27 of them and by coordinates in all 29. This plugin uses the Parcel GPS web API, an external service run by The Hidden Panda: you need an API key. The free plan gives 250 requests a month; paid plans start at 19 EUR a month. Get a key at https://www.parcelgps.com/developers. The data comes from the official cadastres of each country. No extra Python packages are needed.

changelog=0.3.1 Security scan fixes: all web requests now go only through the QGIS network stack (QgsBlockingNetworkRequest, which also uses your QGIS proxy settings); the unused Python urllib fallback was removed. The setting that stores your API key was renamed internally without changing where it is saved, so your key keeps working and you do not need to enter it again. 0.3.0 Results look good out of the box: a satellite or street basemap is added under the parcels when the project has none (Esri World Imagery or OpenStreetMap, your choice is remembered), the map switches to EPSG:3857 and frames the parcel with a margin, parcels get a translucent blue style with labels showing the reference and the area (m² or ha), the panel shows the reference, municipality, area and centroid of the last parcel, and Spanish results can show the official Catastro WMS on top. 0.2.0 QGIS 4 (Qt6) support; still works on QGIS 3.22 and later. 0.1.0 First release: search by cadastral reference, pick on the map, batch from a table with progress and rate-limit handling, save results; English, Spanish, French, German and Italian.
