Tick a box to add the storm-overflow network too: about 20,000 monitored sewage overflows from every English and Welsh water company and Scottish Water, coloured by whether each one is discharging now, discharged recently, not discharging or offline, updated within about an hour from the Water UK Stream feeds behind the National Storm Overflow Hub. Northern Ireland's overflow locations are included, although NI Water does not yet publish live status. Each nation loads as its own layer in an Outfall UK group, so you show or hide nations with the normal layer checkboxes, and you can click any site or overflow with the Identify tool for its details. All data is official, free and keyless: the Environment Agency and Natural Resources Wales via the DEFRA platform, SEPA, DAERA and the water companies.
