description=Civil 3D, OpenRoads and generic LandXML in QGIS: terrain, road geometry, profile and cross-section viewers, earthworks quantities, design reports and a geometric design review (alignment phasing, sight distance, barriers) against Kenya RDM 1.3 or AASHTO.
version=1.8.1

about=Brings LandXML road and terrain data into QGIS and turns it into review-ready reports.

    Import: TIN surfaces to GeoTIFF, surface boundaries, breaklines and feature lines; horizontal alignments with true arc-length stationing; vertical and existing-ground profiles; 3D centrelines; station points; Civil 3D corridor cross-sections placed along their alignment; a Complete Road Design GeoPackage export.

    Review and report: a Profile Viewer dock (click an alignment to see existing ground against design, with cut/fill shading, transitions and a cross-section tab); cut/fill, corridor and TIN-to-TIN quantities with mass haul and side-slope areas for grassing; cross-section sheets as PDF, HTML or PNG; a Road Design Report with plan, curvature, gradient, long-section and superelevation diagrams.

    Geometric Design Review: checks alignment phasing, stopping sight distance, crest and sag K, grades, radii, transitions, superelevation, design speed changes and embankment barrier warrants against Kenya RDM 1.3 (2025) or AASHTO 2018 criteria files, follows the design speeds set in Civil 3D, and writes recommended PVIs and curve lengths as a Civil 3D profile text file and LandXML.

    Coordinate handling is explicit: stored coordinates, axis swap, offset, 2-D Helmert or reprojection are chosen by the user; a LandXML-declared CRS is shown for reference only. US survey feet, international feet and metres remain distinct. No extra Python dependencies.

changelog=1.8.1
    - Reports print cleanly to PDF: page numbers, no empty pages, headings kept with charts, legend colours kept, tables split across pages with repeated headers.
    - Review findings grouped by category with wider issue and recommendation columns; the Road Design Report opens with a table of its alignments.
    - Design speed card lists only the speeds that apply within each alignment.
    1.8.0
    - Geometric Design Review: alignment phasing, sight distance, vertical and horizontal curves, grades, superelevation, design speed changes and barrier warrants, with Kenya RDM 1.3 (2025) or AASHTO 2018 criteria.
    - Recommended PVIs and curve lengths exported for Civil 3D (Create Profile from File text and LandXML).
    - Design speeds from Civil 3D speed stations are followed section by section.
    - The Road Design Report can include the review.
    1.7.0
    - Name dropdowns and automatic surface choice; cross-section sheets and viewer tab; Road Design Report.
    1.6.0
    - Profile Viewer; profile, corridor and surface cut/fill quantities; corrected cross-section placement, hidden TIN faces and curve stationing.
