Tjenesten har til form\u00e5l at give nyt (digitalt) liv til de gamle luftfotos og g\u00f8re dem frit tilg\u00e6ngelige for alle. Siden begyndelsen af projektet er offentligheden blevet inddraget i arbejdet med at placere billederne p\u00e5 danmarkskortet, da der i arkiverne ikke forefinder informationer om billedernes pr\u00e6cise optagelsessteder.\n- English: This plugin adds a toolbar that lets you load up to 500 aerial photos in the current map extent. It is possible to select only oblique photos, vertical photos, or other types of material. Denmark Seen from the Air Before Google is an online service where you can view old aerial photos of Denmark from 1890 onwards. The Royal Danish Library\u2019s collection of aerial photos consists of around three million unique recordings from 1890 to 2010. The collection provides an extraordinary insight into the development of the cultural landscape and infrastructure in cities as well as in the countryside throughout the 20th century. The service aims to give new digital life to the old aerial photos and make them freely accessible to everyone.
