[general]
name=HedgeTools
about=HedgeTools is a Python plugin for QGIS designed to characterize hedgerows.
    It aims to automate the calculation of properties and indicators at different scales of analysis (object, context, network, and landscape).
    Several modules are available, including tools for extracting data from images and 3D LiDAR point clouds.

    In the current version, several groups of metrics are provided:
     - Metrics describing hedge morphology
     - Metrics describing hedge structure
     - Metrics describing the position of hedge within the landscape
     - Metrics analyzing the hedge network

    The plugin was developed by the DYNAFOR laboratory (INRAE / INP-AgroToulouse / EI Purpan).
    It has received support from CNES (SCO EagleHedges project) in collaboration with TerraNIS.
    It is also funded by the French Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty (MAASA)
    and the Ministry for Ecological Transition (MTE) as part of the National Hedge Observatory, in collaboration with OFB and IGN.
