description=Amateur radio tools: Maidenhead locators, QSO log map, DXCC statistics and live QSOs from WSJT-X
version=0.1.1
changelog=0.1.1: passes the plugins.qgis.org scan with no findings (Bandit, detect-secrets, Flake8, file checks, Qt6 check); the SQL statements of the GeoPackage storage were audited. Fixed: a QSO with MY_LAT/MY_LON and no MY_GRIDSQUARE gets the locator of that position as my_gridsquare; Recalculate lets a 2-character locator yield to the cty.dat position inside that field, as the import does. The description names WSJT-X/JTDX and Hamlib rigctld/rotctld as separate programs. 0.1.0: first experimental release. Maidenhead locators, locator search and grid; ADIF import into a GeoPackage without duplicates, with geodesic QSO paths, distance and bearing; DXCC entity, continent and zones from the AD1C cty.dat; statistics panel; live QSOs from WSJT-X and JTDX over UDP; Hamlib rigctld and rotctld radio and rotator control with manual QSO entry; English and Serbian (Latin or Cyrillic) interface.

about=HamQ brings an amateur radio station log into QGIS. Convert Maidenhead (QTH) locators to coordinates and back, search a locator from the toolbar and generate the Maidenhead grid (fields, squares, subsquares and extended squares) as a vector layer. Import ADIF (.adi) logs into a GeoPackage without duplicates and see your QSOs on the map as points and as geodesic paths from your QTH, with distance and bearing; the position of the other station comes from LAT/LON, its locator or its DXCC entity. DXCC entity, continent, CQ and ITU zone are resolved from the callsign with the AD1C cty.dat country file, downloaded with one click (offered at the first start, never bundled). A statistics panel shows QSOs, DXCC entities, continents, bands and modes. New QSOs from WSJT-X or JTDX arrive live over UDP and appear on the map within seconds. Optionally, Hamlib rigctld and rotctld show the radio frequency and mode and turn the antenna with a click on the map. WSJT-X, JTDX and Hamlib are separate programs, not part of HamQ: the live QSO features need WSJT-X or JTDX running, and the radio and rotator features need Hamlib rigctld (radio) and rotctld (rotator) running and connected to the station. The interface is in English and Serbian (Latin or Cyrillic script), switched with one click without restarting QGIS. No third-party Python packages are needed.
