description=Chat with EpidBot, the AI assistant for public health and epidemiological data (DATASUS, WHO, PAHO, ECDC, Malaria Atlas, and more), without leaving QGIS. Requires an EpidBot account on the Max or Team plan (API keys included) and a personal API key.
about=EpidBot brings the EpidBot AI assistant into QGIS as a dockable chat panel. Requires an EpidBot account on the Max or Team plan (both include API keys) plus a personal API key created in the web app (Settings > API Keys). Ask questions about epidemiological data from Brazilian sources (SINAN, SIM, SIA, SIH) and international ones (WHO, PAHO, ECDC, CDC, Malaria Atlas, and more), request charts, and load results into your project. The plugin automatically injects map context (active layers, CRS, extent) into your prompts so EpidBot can reason about what is on your map. Authentication uses a personal EpidBot API key, sent as the X-API-Key header and stored in the system keyring when available.

# Changelog and experimental flag for the first release.
# Continuation lines must be indented (configparser treats them as value continuations).
changelog=0.3.0 - Layer exchange: attach layers to prompts (selected features, extent snapshot, whole layer, or identifiers-only) with a size budget and interactive reduction; attribute write-back - EpidBot proposes field edits as reviewable epidbot-edit operations, applied only after preview and always inside a QGIS edit session; authenticated downloads for EpidBot artifacts; optional artifact uploads for large layers (server support required).
0.2.2 - Plugin metadata: the short description, about text and tags now describe EpidBot's full data coverage (WHO, PAHO, ECDC, CDC, Malaria Atlas and more) instead of framing it as a DATASUS-only assistant.
0.2.1 - Clean pass of the QGIS plugin repository security scan (Bandit): best-effort handlers rewritten with contextlib.suppress, SHA1 marked usedforsecurity=False (cache filename digest only), Bandit added to CI.
0.2.0 - Map integration: richer map context (fields, sample values, selected features); 'Ask about this extent' and 'Ask about selection' toolbar prompts; 'Add to map' action loads GeoJSON/CSV data found in answers onto the canvas; Markdown tables and copyable code blocks; conversation export to Markdown; quick-prompt presets; automatic retries for transient network errors. Now a stable (non-experimental) release.
0.1.4 - Fix Plugin Manager "Error reading metadata": changelog continuation lines in metadata.txt are now indented so configparser can parse them.
0.1.3 - Fix initGui crash ('super-class __init__() of type EpidbotPlugin was never called'): the plugin class now initializes its QObject base. New toolbar/menu icon using the official EpidBot logo.
0.1.2 - Fix plugin load failure: QObject imported from QtCore (was wrongly in the QtWidgets import). New import/construction smoke tests run under real PyQt5 in CI so this class of error cannot ship again.
0.1.1 - Fix plugin load failure ('EpidbotPlugin' has no attribute 'tr' - plugin class now inherits QObject); imports moved to the qgis.PyQt shim for Qt5/Qt6 compatibility; API-key-only authentication with the production API URL pre-filled.
0.1.0 - Initial release: chat dock, API key authentication, session history, plot previews, map context injection.
