about=ALHAMBRA - Agglomeration-level Heuristic Algorithm for Metropolitan-based Regional Analysis - is a research-oriented QGIS plugin developed from Firman Afrianto's doctoral dissertation in Urban and Regional Planning at Universitas Gadjah Mada. It operationalizes the Fraktal Morfogenesis (Fractal Morphogenesis) framework to examine metropolitan agglomeration as an evolving spatial process through the combined analysis of network structure, fractal scaling, and spatial clustering. The workflow extracts topologically meaningful road-network nodes, performs multi-origin box counting and classic global fractal scaling, estimates empirical characteristic agglomeration scales, calculates degree, closeness, betweenness, and eigenvector centrality, and evaluates spatial concentration using multi-epsilon DBSCAN. Outputs include box-counting statistics, agglomeration-scale indicators, topology diagnostics, centrality layers and profiles, DBSCAN cluster assignments and hulls, modern light-mode PNG figures, GeoPackage layers, CSV summaries, metadata JSON, and diagnostic run logs. ALHAMBRA is intended for metropolitan morphology analysis, comparative urban network research, agglomeration dynamics assessment, spatial structure interpretation, and reproducible urban and regional planning research.
