Temperature and precipitation (incl. snow and showers) are rendered as a chart, complemented by the current temperature as a large headline figure, a 24-hour moving average trend line, a per-day strip with temperature range and precipitation sum, and cumulative precipitation from "now" onward. It also shows the nearest place ("near ...") via reverse geocoding through Nominatim/OpenStreetMap, and marks the last queried point on the map. The chart can be zoomed with the mouse wheel and panned by dragging, revealing time-of-day labels as you zoom in; the trend line and the cumulative sum can each be switched off; the attribution (Open-Meteo CC BY 4.0, OSM/Nominatim) is drawn directly into the exported PNG. The interface follows the QGIS UI language automatically (German/English), including localized date and number formats. Weather data is provided by the Open-Meteo API (https://open-meteo.com, data under CC BY 4.0), place names by OpenStreetMap (Nominatim, data under ODbL). Network requests go through the QGIS network manager and therefore honour the proxy settings configured in QGIS.
