about=Rotate polygons and lines so they run parallel to the nearest line or polygon edge. Parallelizer aligns building footprints to streets and roads, parcels to cadastral boundaries, parking stalls to curbs, and any other features that should follow a reference orientation.

    Two ways to use it:
    - Processing algorithm: align whole layers in batch, with options for maximum distance, maximum angle, longest-edge alignment, and skipping multipart features.
    - Interactive map tool: pick a reference line or polygon on the canvas, then click a feature or drag a rectangle to rotate several at once. Edits are undoable.

Check your data for geometry errors first. Full documentation: https://elfpkck.github.io/parallelizer/

changelog=
 Version 2.2.0:
 - Add "Report a problem..." (Vector > Parallelizer menu), also offered after an unexpected error. It shows a diagnostics report you can review and edit before sharing: versions, settings, the last error, recent log lines and a description of the last operations. Nothing is sent automatically
 - Share a report by copying it, opening a pre-filled GitHub issue, opening a pre-filled email, or with one click (Send report, no account needed) to the developer's private report service. See the privacy note on the docs site
 - Geometries are only included if you tick a box, and are moved to a local origin so their real location is not shared
 - After a crash or freeze, the next start offers to report it
 - The plugin now logs to the Log Messages panel (Parallelizer tab) and to a small log file in the QGIS profile folder

 Version 2.1.3:
 - Rename the plugin on the QGIS plugin portal to "Parallelizer: Align Polygons and Lines" and rewrite its description, about text and tags so it is easier to find

 Version 2.1.2:
 - Pass the QGIS plugin portal's Qt6 compatibility check: legacy enum fallbacks for QGIS < 3.30/3.36 are now spelled with their enum class (no behavior change)
