description=This tool extracts land surface temperature from Landsat 5 TM, Landsat 7 ETM+ and Landsat 8 TIR imagery. It also calculates land surface emissivity by using the NDVI approach.

about=This plugin has been written to estimate Land Surface Temperature (LST) from Visible, Near Infrared (NIR) and Thermal Infrared (TIR) imagery from Landsat 5 TM, Landsat 7 ETM+ and Landsat TIRS. The plugin has the ability to convert Digital Numbers (DNs) to Radiance, Radiance to brightness temperature, Calculate NDVI, estimate Land Surface Emissivity (LSE) and perform atmospheric and emissivity correction through the use of the Radiative Transfer Equation (RTE), Single Channel Algorithm (SCA), inversion of Planck function and the Mono Window Algorithm (MWA).
