GeoAccuracy is a QGIS plugin that automates the generation of confusion matrices (error matrices) and calculates advanced mapping accuracy statistics when comparing classified rasters against reference maps.
Follow these simple steps to perform an accuracy assessment:
Ensure both your classified raster map and ground-truth reference raster map are loaded in QGIS.
Open the plugin via the toolbar button or by going to Plugins > Accuracy Assessment.
Select your **Reference Map** layer from the dropdown.
Select your **Comparison Map** layer from the dropdown.
Click Select... next to the CSV Output File field, choose where to save the files, and specify a name.
Click OK.
Understanding the Output
Upon completion, two files are exported to the target folder:
CSV Confusion Matrix: Standard-compliant comma-separated matrix containing raw pixel counts, totals, user accuracy, and producer accuracy.
HTML Report: A responsive report featuring a colored confusion matrix table, diagnostic ratings (Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor), and category-specific suggestions.
